Nando's Marry Me Chicken hailed 'best recipe I've ever made'

If you're craving a Nando's but can't get one, don't worry as you can have a Nando's inspired dish that's homemade and tastes delicious.

Whilst you can't quite beat an actual Nandos, this is pretty up there with it being hailed as one of the best recipes.

Taking to TikTok, Gemma aka @gemmab.slimmingx, who posts all things good food whilst trying to lose weight, shared her recipe for her Nando's Marry Me Chicken. And it has us drooling.

In the video she said: "This Nando's Marry Me Chicken was honestly the best recipe I'e ever made and it's only 370 calories per portion."

Nando's Marry Me Chicken - full recipe


  • 400g chicken

  • 1 onion

  • 50g sun dried tomatoes

  • 2 tbsp nandos garlic sauce

  • 1 tbsp tomato puree

  • 80g Philadelphia lightest

  • 15g Parmesan

  • Veg stock cube + 300ml water

  • Peri peri seasoning

  • Paprika

  • Onion salt

  • Garlic powder

  • Garlic puree

  • Handful of spinach

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  1. Coat your chicken breast in Peri Peri seasoning, paprkia, and garlic powder

  2. Pop it in the air fryer for 25 minutes at 180C until cooked through

  3. While your chicken is cooking, add onions to pan along with onion powder and garlic puree and fry for a few mins until soften

  4. Next add the sundried tomatoes and cook for a few minutes

  5. Then add the tomato puree, nandos sauce, lemon juice and stock

  6. Reduce the sauce for five to 10 mins to thicken

  7. Next stir in stir in the Philadelphia, parmesan and spaiach until combined

  8. Finally add your cooked chicken breast to a plate and serve sauce over

  9. You can serve with rice and broccoli.
