Naomi Campbell declares 'I'm hands on' as she starts 'new chapter' as working mother
Naomi Campbell has declared herself to be "hands on" as she juggles motherhood with her career in "new chapter" of her life.
The supermodel and entrepreneur — who celebrates her 51st birthday at the weekend — interviewed fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg for her YouTube series No Filter on the same day that she announced she has become a mother to a baby girl.
Campbell, 50, told fans in the chat during the livestream: "Hello my darlings, thank you so much for the pre-birthday wishes... and for my new chapter as a mother I’m honoured and humbled."

One viewer commented: "I am honestly surprised though to see Naomi in the chat... wasn't expecting that at all."
Campbell replied: "IM HANDS ON ,NO FILTER IS MY OTHER. BABY."
The British actor and writer announced on Instagram that she has welcomed a daughter.
Campbell shared a picture of her hands cradling a pair of baby feet, captioned: "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."

The fashionista has previously spoken about wanting to be a parent addressing the subject in a 2016 interview.
Campbell told the Sunday Times: "Well, I’m not saying I won’t have children. I could have children. I just don’t know which way I’ll have children. But I think I’ll have children, everyone thinks I’ll be a good mother.

“I’ve always considered it. I’ll just do it when I’m ready. I’m not rushing to anyone’s drumbeat, I’m going to my own.”
The Empire star has been romantically linked to a string of celebrities over the years, including Robert De Niro, Leonardo Di Caprio, Usher, Skepta and One Direction's Liam Payne.
She was engaged to Formula One boss Flavio Briatore during their relationship between 1998 and 2003.
