NARS store to open in Glasgow as brand's 'first stand-alone unit outside London'
Plans to open a new NARS shop in Glasgow's city centre have been given the green light.
The global cosmetics brand will open its new flagship store at 133 Buchanan Street after councillors approved the proposals. The address was formerly home to a Castore sportwear store before its closure in August.
Artist's impression image contained within the planning show how the store could look following its renovation, with the shop located over two levels.

The images show the interior of the store depict a sleek design with a white and red interior, bright overhead lighting and large mounted images of models on the walls.
Planners for the company have also drawn inspiration from one of their flagship stores in Covent Garden, London to illustrate how the store will look.
Documents contained within the application describe it as the French brand's "first stand-alone retail unit outside London".
NARS also has a boutique within House of Fraser on Buchanan Street.
