Nasa Creates Terminator Style Repair Substance For Spaceships
If your name is John Connor, then we seriously recommend that you listen up.
The material used by the villainous T-1000 in the second Terminator film to repair itself could soon become a reality - after NASA developed a scarily similar substance.
But there’s no need to get Arnold Schwarzenegger to save the day just yet - as the material will only be used in the hope of developing self-repairing spaceships (or so we’re told).

Describing the new development, researchers from the University of Michigan said: ‘While other approaches for materials self-repair have utilised similar liquid-to-solid transitions, our approach permits the development of materials capable of sealing a breach within seconds, far faster than previously described methods.’
A video of the thiol-ene-trialkylborane liquid resin showed it being pumped into a bullet hole and instantly fixing itself, having been polymerised after coming into contact with oxygen.
