As party season slowly but surely creeps up on us, it’s time to start seriously pondering the outfits and pieces which will see us through our string of glitzy soirées.

But when we're hopping from our desks to the dance floor, it’s not always good enough to just have that sequin LBD or a leather micro-mini, sometimes we need slightly more transitional pieces to carry us through the day's activities.

And rest assured, the collection which offers precisely that is now here.

Cara Delevingne has collaborated with affordable online fashion brand, Nasty Gal, to front a 40-piece collection which includes oversized blazers, this season’s favourite trend of leather look trousers and some seriously cool shirts.

Speaking on working with the brand, Delevingne said: “I am so excited to get to join Nasty Gal in this new part of their brand journey. It’s such an exciting time to be working with them.”

Delevingne’s stand-out favourite pieces from the collection include the “jeans with the cut-outs right below the bum and the crop tops,” and she also said that “It’s empowering to select pieces of clothing to illustrate how you feel on the inside on any given day.”

The collection was shot at the infamous Electric Lady Studios, the notorious recording studio in New York, built by Jimi Hendrix in 1970.

This marks 27-year-old Delevingne’s first clothing line with Nasty Gal, which has previously hosted collaborations with Emily Ratajkowski, Rina Lipa and Emma Louise Connolly.

The collection will be available to buy from nastygal.com from October 23 and prices range from £15- £150.
