Natasha Hamilton planning to launch solo career next year

Natasha Hamilton is planning to launch her solo career next year.

The Atomic Kitten star has been working on new music with a team of producers but she had to postpone her solo launch when she found out she was pregnant with her fifth child.

After taking time out with her newborn daughter, Kitty Iris, Natasha hopes to embark on her solo venture in early 2024.

"My solo project feels like it's been forever coming. Obviously we've paused it for the most incredible reason, but I can't wait to get my music out there," she told OK! magazine. "It's uplifting pop/dance and I've been working with some incredible producers who totally get me musically. Every time we go to write in the studio, it's a banger!

"We're looking at releasing at the beginning of next year because I want to do all the festivals singing songs people have already heard. Music is what sets my soul on fire."

While she is focused on her solo career, Natasha will also continue to perform with her fellow Atomic Kitten bandmate Liz McClarnon.

"I've had an amazing career with the girls and we always get to bring it back with the nostalgia concerts," she shared. "But my solo project is my focus. Time's ticking and I need to get on that stage while I still feel in my prime."

Natasha, 41, and her husband Charles Gay welcomed Kitty Iris, their first child together, earlier this month. The singer also has four other children from previous relationships.
