National Guard Troops Touch Down at Andrews Air Force Base Ahead of Inauguration

Soldiers from the National Guard arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on January 18 ahead of their deployment to Washington to support local law enforcement at the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

This footage shows soldiers from the Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, and New York National Guard arriving at the base. At least 25,000 National Guard personnel will be in Washington for the January 20 inauguration. As of January 17, over 21,500 personnel had arrived in the city.
