National Highways closing A52 between Oatfield Lane and Bingham Island for electrical works
Drivers should allow extra time for their journeys as National Highways plans to close a section of the A52 for electrical works later this month. The works will take place between Radcliffe-on-Trent and Bingham, with the busy road being closed from Oatfield Lane to Bingham Island in both directions.
The closure will be in place along the 12km of road overnight from 8pm on Tuesday, October 29, until 6am on Wednesday, October 30. Diversion routes will be in place while the road is closed.
During this time Trentbarton has announced that its Mainline service will be diverting in both directions via Upper Saxondale. This means that stops at Henson Lane and Saxondale Island will not be served during this time.
The bus firm said: "We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause to your journey and please allow extra time for your travel."
