NatWest warns customers 'we're aware' and investigating
NatWest has warned customers "we are aware" as they struggled to see their credit card online on their online banking. Social media users complained to the high street bank via Twitter, now X, this week as we head towards the new Labour Party government's Budget.
A Twitter user wrote on the site, which is now known as X after the rebrand from Elon Musk: "Why can't I see my credit card online banking? Just says 'Sorry we can't show your account details right now, but you can still use your card as normal'?"
NatWest said in response: "We're aware of an issue at the moment with viewing credit cards on the app and online banking. The team are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible but you can still use your card in the meantime."

A second echoed the concerns and said: "I cannot view my credit card either online or via the NatWest app - what is the issue?" The bank said in reply: "We are aware of this issues and we are working hard to fix the issue. In the meantime, you can continue using your card as normal. Please keep me posted, as I would love to this back up and running for you."
The NatWest credit score tool, launched in partnership with TransUnion, is available to everyone for free. It takes less than 5 minutes to sign up and you don't even have to be a NatWest customer. The three main Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs) – Experian, Equifax and TransUnion – have different scales to measure credit scores. For example; 700 may be considered poor by one CRA but excellent by another.
You can get a free, independent score from each credit reference agency which tells you the band you’re in. There’s no universal minimum credit score needed to get things like a loan or mortgage as different providers have different lending criteria. But your credit rating must be considered good enough by your provider.
