Naughty Louis Walsh Has Taken A Swipe At Cheryl And Grimmy

Louis Walsh clearly has no intention of letting his spat with Cheryl (just the one name now, folks) dying a dignified death.

The Irish music mogul was confirmed as one of the new (old) judges of this year’s X Factor and he took the opportunity to have a swipe at out-going judges Chezza and Grimmy.

He said: “I’m delighted to be back on the panel especially beside my two favourite female judges Sharon and Nicole, and I’m looking forward to taking them all back to Dublin this year when we head there for auditions.”

Speaking on Gogglebox stars, Steph and Dom’s, new chatshow, Louis got his claws out for Cheryl.

He said: “She’s very ambitious, she’s not there for the music.” And then he compared Nick Grimshaw to a groupie before branding him a bad booking. Ouch.

Louis explained: “He’s a nice enough guy but he’s like a groupie, you only ever see him with famous people.”

And then added: “The truth is, nobody on last year’s X Factor panel really got on at all. It just didn’t work.”

Now that is some serious shade, Louis.

Louis was confirmed as a judge alongside Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger yesterday.

The announcement ended months of speculation over who would be sitting in the judges chairs this year after Simon Cowell had a mass clearout after the last series.

Dermot O’Leary is also back fronting the show, replacing Caroline Flack and Olly Murs.
