Washington Wizards vs New York Knicks
NBA regular season
O2 Arena, London
Thursday, 17 January 2019
Tip-off: 8pm

The NBA returns to London on Thursday night, for the ninth regular season game to be held on these shores, with another sell out crowd expected at the O2 Arena.

The Washington Wizards will be playing their very first regular season game outside of North America, while the New York Knicks are chasing a first win on British soil, having lost on both of their previous visits.

The Knicks arrive as underdogs, currently sat 13th in the Eastern conference after a run of just one win in 13, while their opponents are 11th, and still have genuine aspirations of a top eight finish and a spot in the playoffs.

Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal will be the star name on show, having averaged more than 30 points per game so far in 2019.

Beal has been the Wizards' top scorer in each of their last seven games
