Yahoo News NCIS just hinted at a potential future reunion between Ziva and Tony
Note: This article contains spoilers for NCIS season 17 episode 2.
NCIS's Ziva David has left again, but not without offering viewers hope for a long-awaited reunion.
Cote de Pablo's return stint has come to an end for now (she will be back later this season for another two episodes), although before her character exited to continue her mission, she and Gibbs talked about Tony DiNozzo.

Tony (Michael Weatherly) left the NCIS team at the end of season 13 to take care of Tali, his daughter with Ziva – unaware that Ziva was still alive.
"The less Tony knows, the better," Ziva says in season 17 episode 2.
The end of the episode sees Gibbs' phone ring. It's Tony. Gibbs confirms that he hasn't revealed the truth yet, adding: "He should hear it from you."
"And he will," Ziva replies as she leaves, surely laying down the groundwork for Ziva and Tony to share a reunion down the line...

Although we know that de Pablo is returning again in the near future, we don't know whether or not Michael Weatherly will reprise his role.
In 2017, Weatherly told Digital Spy that he would be keen to return "when the time is right".
"She's one of my favourite people," he added, speaking about de Pablo. "For eight years, we got to have a lot of fun."
