Yahoo News NCIS's Cote de Pablo returns as Ziva in midseason finale

Cote de Pablo's Ziva continued her long-awaited return to NCIS last night (December 17) in a midseason finale that provided twists and turns.
In the episode, Ziva had to take care of the "one thing" before reuniting with her family – ensuring that Adam was okay.
He had helped her in the past, though she discovers that Adam has been abducted and, with Gibbs, tracks him down to a warehouse.
While they manage to gun down his captor, they fall through a floor, also learning from Adam that the Sahar they killed earlier in the season was a decoy. Before he dies, Adam tells Gibbs that he "know[s]" the real one – Phineas' mother.
Ziva manages to find the real Sarah, who reveals that Adam accidentally told her Ziva has a daughter and she's going to kill her too. Thankfully, Gibbs arrives and guns down Sarah.
All of which should pave the way for that big Ziva, Tony and Tali reunion soon...
Speaking previously about Cote de Pablo's return to the fold, fellow star Diona Reasonover (Kasie) told Digital Spy that her first appearance last season was kept secret for many of the cast too.
"I feel like everybody secretly knew but me!" she laughed. "Not only did I find out after probably all the cast and crew, but I found out after the East Coast too, because I had been watching on West Coast time.
"Everybody knew about this except for me! I was the last one to know."
NCIS airs on CBS in the US, and on FOX UK in the UK.
