Near Miss for Pub Patrons as Car Smashes Through Beer Garden

Patrons at a pub in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, had a near miss when a car crashed into a beer garden on the night of December 27, smashing into benches that were fortunately empty. The car was said by the Lancashire Post to have been stolen.

The hairy moment at the Hare and Hounds pub was captured by security camera, with footage showing punters standing at the door before a car comes crashing into the beer garden.

The driver of the car and a passenger can then be seen exiting the smoking vehicle and running away from the scene.

According to local news, around £2,000 ($2,699) worth of damage was done.
