We Brits love our royals and to see them in real life would be a joy for most.

And a YouGov survey has found that nearly a third of the country has actually either seen or met the Queen in real life – the most commonly sighted out of the entire Royal Family.

Some 31% of people have had the pleasure of seeing Her Majesty – which may to be a surprise considering how long she’s been on the throne.

One of the Queen’s duties is to go out and press the flesh with her loyal subjects and hubby Phillip often joins her – and he is the second most sighted Royal, with just under a quarter (22%) of the country seeing him for real.

Princess Anne is third on the list (17%), just 1% ahead of Prince Charles.

At the other end of the scale, bride-to-be Meghan Markle has been seen in real life by just 1% of Brits, according to he survey of 1,648 UK adults.

However, this is not surprising considering she is a newbie to the job and she will no doubt shoot up the list once she gets stuck in to her royal duties.

After her luxurious honeymoon, that is.
