If you're newly engaged or already well in the throes of wedding prep then you may (or may not) be aware of how useful a wedding fair can be. Having a host of businesses in one place explaining what they can do for you - be that florist, cake maker or catering company - is not only time-saving but can be a great source of inspiration.
The Ned - part private members' club, part hotel, part restaurant collection, and arguably London's most exciting opening in recent years - is hosting its next wedding showcase this week. The event will be held on Friday 28 February in the Tapestry Room, The Saloon, Drawing Room and South East Terrace on the historic building's private events floor - all of which are available to hire for your special day.
Guests will be able to tuck into a selection of canapés and sip on Nyetimber English sparkling wine as they meet The Ned's wedding planning team and browse a selection of hand-picked wedding partners, such as in-house florists Grandirosa, Bubblegum Balloons and stationer Dimitria Jordan. Enjoy live entertainment from Blank Canvas while sampling bespoke cakes by couture bakers Belsize Cakes; discuss dining options with the in-house executive events team; or enjoy a session with stylist Anne Ladegast-Chiu from wedding planning business Hilde.
A pop-up Cowshed spa will also offer complimentary manicures, bridal updos with hairstylist Nicole De Abreu, and grooming sessions with the barbershop team.
The best part? There's no fee to attend and you can take up to two friends with you. Simply RSVP by emailing weddings@thened.com, and a member of the wedding team will come back to you to confirm availability.
