Who Needs A Sleigh? Santa Claus Hunted By Police After Stealing A Helicopter

Santa Claus is coming to town. In a helicopter.

However, he may need to add himself to his own naughty list, after he stole the aircraft from an airport.

Police in Sao Paulo are hunting for a man dressed as Father Christmas after he stole a helicopter from an air taxi service at the Campo Marte airport.

It was reported that the theft was part of an audacious Black Friday “surprise”.

The Santa Claus rented the helicopter on Friday and forced the pilot to fly to a small farm outside Sao Paulo. They were met there by a third person.

The pilot was tied up and left there while Santa and his accomplice flew away in the helicopter.

The pilot managed to alert police several hours later. The helicopter, a Robinson model 44, has not been located.

Don’t worry, kids: it’s not the real Santa who is accused of stealing the helicopter, but just one of his “helpers” who has gone rogue.
