Yahoo News Neighbours' Eve Morey reacts to shocking Dee twist
Fans of Neighbours are still just about getting over the re-emergence of actress Madeleine West in the show, as she re-ignited the Dee Bliss/Andrea drama. Who is she? There are loads of theories flying about.
She turned up on a park bench, wearing what looked awfully like a wedding dress, just at the wrong time as Toadie and Sonya Rebecchi were taking steps to repair their marriage, after Toadie got caught cheating on Sonya with Fake Dee in London.
Well now, Eve Morey – who plays Sonya – has had her say on the whole thing, and she doesn't sound entirely hopeful for her character.
"I think for Toadie and Sonya the worst possible outcome is for Andrea to come back pregnant because it will mean that she is in their lives forever and there's this poor child with a horrible mother," Morey said.
"If it was the real Dee it would also be difficult because it would bring up all Jarrod's old feelings for her again, but I have always thought that real Dee would be nice, she wouldn't try and win him back.
"Nor do I think Jarrod would make the same mistake and go back to her, even if it was the real Dee.
In an attempt to get to the bottom of the matter, Digital Spy reached out to Channel 5 bosses to get official word on the huge twist.
Commissioner Greg Barnett told us exclusively: "We loved the audience response to Madeleine West's return this year. Whether you were Team Dee or Team Andrea, the storyline got people talking.
"We always planned a sequel following the scandalous events in London and this week's appearance by Madeleine is a nugget for the future.
"Was the mysterious woman on the park bench Dee or Andrea? And who was the man who sat down beside her? The answers lie in a juicy new saga waiting to be told," Barnett explained.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
