Yahoo News Neighbours' Tyler blackmailed with sinister threats
Neighbours' Tyler Brennan is forced to go undercover next week after being blackmailed by a dangerous newcomer.
As Tyler (Travis Burns) faces the sad reality that he's likely to be jailed for killing his dad Hamish Roche, his ordeal gets even worse as a man called Adrian Snyder approaches him at the garage.
Sinister Snyder (Michael Vice) reveals that he works for Philip Banks, a powerful man in the jail that Tyler is likely to be sent to.
Snyder warns that Tyler needs Philip on side if he wants to stay safe behind bars and then gives him a mission – find out whether Mr Banks is right to suspect that his wife is being unfaithful.
Doing what it takes to protect himself, Tyler gets bullied into the covert operation and gets to know Philip's wife Verity.
When Verity takes the bait by inviting Tyler up to her room, he takes the opportunity to see if he can find evidence of another man.
Unfortunately for Tyler, he seems to have seriously underestimated his target when she suddenly turns on him – revealing that she's well aware he's playing her.
Tyler is wrong-footed as Verity reveals that her husband has already sent numerous men after her to do exactly the same thing in the past. Having messed up the job, is Tyler now in danger of repercussions from Philip and Snyder?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, February 1 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
