Neighbours will temporarily change timeslots on Channel 5 in the build-up to the 2017 season finale.

The Aussie soap has three weeks' worth of episodes still to show before the annual Christmas break.

While next week's episodes air at the usual times of 1.45pm and 5.30pm, fans should take care not to be caught out by schedule changes from Monday, November 27 onwards.

For the final two weeks of episodes, Neighbours' lunchtime screening temporarily shifts to the earlier time of 1.30pm, while the teatime airing moves later to 6pm. The shake-up comes as fellow Aussie export Home and Away airs its final episode of the year on Friday, November 24.

5Star's evening repeat of Neighbours will also move from 6pm to 6.30pm during this two-week period.

As always, Neighbours is building up to a dramatic season finale episode which will include some tense cliffhangers.

This year's finale airs on Friday, December 8, but we'll then be left with a four-week wait until Neighbours returns on Monday, January 8.

The good news is that this is the last time that we'll have to cope with a Neighbours break. The iconic show becomes an all-year-round soap from 2018 as part of its new multi-year deal with Channel 5.
