Neighbours star Colette Mann has revealed she was injured while performing a stunt on the Australian soap.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday (June 27), the actress, who plays Sheila Canning, shared a still from an upcoming episode that's set to see Yashvi Rebecchi and Levi Canning end up involved in a terrible car crash.

In the snap, a bloodied Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) is lying in a flipped vehicle, and trying to operate the car radio. In the background is Sheila, who's clearly trying to get to Yashvi and help her out.

"This was just before I turned and ran into a piece of scaffolding erected for the stunt," Mann wrote alongside the image. "You will notice the amazing make up over the next week or so by Alex Long and Jamie Minney to cover the damage I inflicted on myself"

In a follow-up post, she posted a photo of herself sporting a big black eye.

"And here she is the next Day … the smash queen, who was so in the moment that she didn't see the scaffolding and cracked into it full force," Mann explained. "Lucky I am so short it just missed my eye.
