Neighbours spoilers for UK viewers follow.

Neighbours' David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan agree to help Emmett Donaldson on UK screens next week, after he makes a huge request.

The couple are approached by a desperate Emmett, who reveals he might be moving to New Zealand.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, David (Takaya Honda) and Aaron (Matt Wilson) find the youngster in tears.

Emmett's (Ezra Justin) aunt Linda is planning on relocating with him out of Australia, and he's devastated by the idea of not being near his brother Brent Colefax (Texas Watterston), who is currently staying with David and Aaron.

So Emmett asks David and Aaron if he can move in with them.

The couple are initially unsure about what to do. They really sympathise with Emmett, but the request is complicated by the fact that the agency wouldn't allow Emmett to live under the same roof as Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes), due to her criminal record.

David and Aaron are reluctant to ask Nicolette to move out to accommodate Emmett, especially with her pregnant with their baby.

A solution is agreed on, and David and Aaron vow to do their best to help Emmett. They meet with Linda (Amelia Best), but she is adamant that Emmett is coming with her to New Zealand.

David and Aaron, refusing to give up, get in touch with the foster agency and arrange a house assessment.

Leila Potts (Jing-Xuan Chan) arrives, but David is frustrated when Brent is nowhere to be seen.

Brent does return in time, and even better, he manages to impress Leila when he shows how his life is going. The assessment appears to have gone well, and David and Aaron are optimistic.

But what will the final decision be?

Neighbours airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, April 12 on Channel 5.
