Neighbours spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Curtis Perkins will lash out at Jesse Porter after their breakup on Neighbours.

In episodes airing this week on Australian screens, Curtis (Nathan Borg) hears a rumour that Jesse (Cameron Robbie) has been cheating on him.

Jesse's love life has been in a precarious situation for a few weeks now since he agreed to start a faux romance with Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan), in order to help her hide her real long-distance relationship with Brent Colefax (Texas Watterston).

Meanwhile, the Flamingo Bar employee has started a relationship with Erinsborough High teacher Curtis.

According to TV Week, all of the secrecy and lies will lead to a reckoning for Jesse this week when he decides to break up with Curtis, leaving him devastated.

Curtis truly believed their relationship was going somewhere and when he find out new information about his partner, his anger gets the best of him and he lashes out at Jesse.

"When Jesse breaks it off without explanation, it leaves Curtis confused and hurt," said Borg.

"He'd only just admitted he'd fallen for Jesse and thought they had a good dynamic."

However, Curtis makes the mistake of going to Hendrix (Benny Turland) with his grief – and when Curtis reveals he's feeling blue after breaking up with Jesse, alarm bells go off for Hendrix.

Hendrix was convinced Jesse was dating Harlow, and believes he has unmasked Jesse's cheating. He immediately goes to Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) and tells her, and soon the rumour spreads and makes his way back to Curtis's ears.

While Curtis was starting to doubt himself, believing Jesse didn't accept him for who he is, this new revelation makes him now feel betrayed and angry.

Curtis decides to take matters into his own hands and lashes out at Jesse.

Will Jesse be able to explain away his fake romance with Harlow? And who will he choose?

Neighbours will air these scenes next week in Australia and in five weeks' time in the UK. Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and weekdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
