Neighbours couple David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan fall out next week after Emmett Donaldson leaves Ramsay Street.
The pair face an emotional time after Emmett (Ezra Justin) makes the difficult decision to depart Erinsborough in favour of living with his aunt.
Upcoming episodes see David (Takaya Honda) and Aaron (Matt Wilson) receive the news that Emmett's aunt has just returned from New Zealand.
As Emmett's aunt is a suitable guardian – and has already been through the necessary protocols in the past – the teenager can go to live with her right away.

Emmett is told that his own personal preference will play a role in where he ultimately ends up.
This leads to problems when some of Emmett's loved ones are determined to influence his decision.
Jenna (Anna Lise Phillips) returns and encourages her son to make the move, telling him that he's better off with family. She also uses Fay's condition to her advantage, wrongly claiming that Aaron is too distracted by his mum to make Emmett a priority.
David is appalled by Jenna's tactics and puts up his own fight for Emmett to stay, reminding him of the upheaval and how he'll have to move schools again.

Aaron seems to be the only one who takes an impartial approach, encouraging Emmett to think carefully about his decision and do what's right for him.
In the end, Emmett decides to go to live with his aunt – much to the delight of Jenna.
After Emmett has said an emotional farewell, a divide crops up between Aaron and David.
While Aaron wants to concentrate on looking to the future, David accuses him of giving up on Emmett way too easily. Can the popular couple reach a resolution over this?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, September 7 and Tuesday, September 8 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
