Neighbours' David and Aaron to receive life-changing request from Emmett

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Neighbours' David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan have a big decision to make on Australian screens next week, as Emmett Donaldson makes another Erinsborough return.

Emmett is currently staying with his Aunt Linda but has a life-changing request for David and Aaron, with his brother Brent Colefax living on Ramsay Street and following Linda's desire to return to New Zealand (via TV Week magazine).

In upcoming scenes on 10 Peach, Emmett (Ezra Justin) explains to David (Takaya Honda) and Aaron (Matt Wilson) that he does not want to move with his aunt, as it would separate him from Brent.

He then asks if it's possible at all to move into Number 32. While David and Aaron like the idea, the situation is more complicated than it appears.

Emmett and Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes) are not allowed to live in the same house, with the latter having a criminal record over the stolen lottery ticket – and Nicolette is pregnant with David and Aaron's baby right now.

David and Aaron eventually agree to Emmett's request, but face resistance from Linda (Amelia Best), who insists he's coming to New Zealand with her.

In response, David and Aaron arrange a house assessment with the foster agency.

There is a nervy moment when Brent (Texas Watterston) suddenly takes off before the assessment, but he returns and impresses Leila Potts (Jing-Xuan Chan) from the agency.

But what will the agency ultimately decide? Will Emmett be allowed to stay with David and Aaron permanently?

Emmett's request will air in five weeks' time in the UK.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
