Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Neighbours' Dipi Rebecchi struggles to cope next week as she realises that her husband Shane is hiding something from her.
Dipi (Sharon Johal) resorts to secretly following Shane when his strange and distracted behaviour starts to affect their marriage.
Viewers know that Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) is secretly becoming reliant on drugs as he battles with stress over his work and study commitments.
Next week, Dipi confides in her friend Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) about how she and Shane won't be doing anything to celebrate their upcoming 20th wedding anniversary.
Pierce encourages Dipi to see that this occasion is worth celebrating, despite how busy Shane is at the moment.
Taking this on board, Dipi arranges a romantic dinner at home to discuss it with Shane. When Shane fails to show up on time, Dipi uses a "find my phone" app to suss out his whereabouts.
Dipi follows Shane and finds him alone on a street in West Waratah, where he has just bought another supply from his dealer.
Unsure of what's going on, Dipi holds back on confronting Shane straight away, but she can sense that something is very wrong.
The following day, Dipi goes to Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) to see if she knows anything about what's going on with Shane.
Roxy is aware of Shane's secret, but decides to protect him and tells Dipi that she doesn't know anything.
Later, Dipi breaks down over Shane as she confides in Jane Harris (Annie Jones) at The Waterhole.
Jane thinks that Shane could be struggling with depression, but Dipi isn't convinced and strongly suspects that there's more to it.
When Roxy sees Dipi in tears, she heads to Number 30 and confronts Shane for making his wife miserable.
Roxy goes looking through Shane's backpack and finds another supply of drugs, which she tries to throw down the sink.
Things turn physical as Shane tries to stop Roxy from ditching the drugs, leaving Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) horrified and angry when he walks in.
Kyle strongly rebukes Shane for his abusive behaviour towards Roxy and wastes no time before telling Dipi what he witnessed.
With Shane and Roxy both still keeping quiet about the involvement of drugs, Dipi is only aware that her husband seems to be struggling with some serious anger issues.
After an intervention, Shane suggests going to stay with his brother Stonie for a while so he can clear his head – but is this just another lie to protect his habit?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Wednesday, September 2, Thursday, September 3 and Friday, September 4 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
