Neighbours' Harlow is betrayed again as Paul makes a nasty plan

·2-min read

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours schemer Paul Robinson hatches a ruthless new plan to keep his granddaughter Harlow apart from Brent Colefax next week.

Paul (Stefan Dennis) has never been a fan of Brent and believes that the teenager is not a suitable romantic match for Harlow.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Brent (Texas Watterston) remains on remand after being arrested for the recent robbery incident at The Hive.

Brent is grateful that he has Toadie Rebecchi working on his case after Paul generously hired the lawyer.

He encourages Harlow (Jemma Donovan) to go easy on her grandfather, even though Paul was the reason the police found his secret hideaway and arrested him.

Toadie is confident that Brent still stands a chance of avoiding a prison sentence, even though he missed his chance to hand himself in voluntarily.

Brent makes it clear to Harlow that he'll understand if she doesn't want to wait for him. Harlow refuses to even have this conversation, promising that she'll be standing by Brent no matter what.

Unfortunately, just as Brent has reason to feel optimistic, Paul has other ideas.

Paul pays a visit to Holden Brice (Toby Derrick) at the prison and encourages him to tell the police about his other gang-related activities.

Holden is stunned as Paul suggests that he should pin the blame on Brent for all of these past crimes, falsely painting him as the ringleader.

Although Holden insists that he's no snitch, Paul sweetens the deal by offering to pay him generously if he follows through with the plan.

It's clear that Paul will stop at nothing in order to keep Brent behind bars and away from Harlow for a long time, but will Holden agree to the deal?
