Neighbours' Hendrix Greyson to confide in Kyle Canning over cancer fears

·2-min read

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Neighbours' Hendrix Greyson confides in Kyle Canning on Australian screens next week, as he's terrified he has cancer.

A booth to check for testicular cancer was set up at Erinsborough's Shorts and Briefs film festival recently, and several Ramsay Street residents paid a visit. When Hendrix (Benny Turland) got checked, a lump was found and he was advised to undergo further tests.

In upcoming scenes on 10 Peach via TV Week magazine, Hendrix is struggling with the possibility of cancer. He tries to take his mind off this by inviting Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) to a night out.

Hendrix gets completely drunk, and is later asked to leave the venue. As Roxy gets ready to head back home, Hendrix refuses to call it a night and attempts to get back inside through the back.

Roxy tries to stop Hendrix, grabbing his arm, but Hendrix pushes her and Roxy ends up on the ground with a twisted ankle.

When Kyle (Chris Milligan) finds out about Roxy's injury and what happened with Hendrix, he angrily confronts the teen. Hendrix then tells Kyle the truth over what he's been going through, explaining that the fear of the worst-case scenario has held him back from undergoing further tests as previously advised.

Hendrix says he doesn't feel like there's any point attending school right now, and admits to distancing himself from Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone), who has noticed something is up with him.

These scenes air in mid-October in the UK.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
