Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours' Ned Willis and the new Sheila Canning get closer on UK screens next week.

The new Sheila (Shareena Clanton) arrived in Erinsborough a few weeks back to negotiate buying The Hive, but things may be getting more complicated as a romantic spark develops between her and Ned (Ben Hall), who is The Hive's manager.

Ned is, of course, currently in a relationship with Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer).

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Ramsay Street's Sheila (Colette Mann) is desperate to impress the new Sheila when she invites her over for lunch.

Sheila 1 goes a bit overboard, but relaxes as Sheila 2 says she wants the meal to be more laid-back. Both Sheilas then begin to bond over family.

The new Sheila, wanting to get away from working on her laptop for a bit, later asks Ned at The Hive about painting classes.

Sheila 2 and Ned get on really well during the painting class, something which doesn't go unnoticed by Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson), who pops by The Hive.

At the same time, there is tension between Ned and Yashvi. Ned helps Yashvi out with a big favour, but her bad hangover leads to Ned feeling a little underappreciated.

Yashvi tries to make it up to Ned later.

But there is fresh concern after Bea offers to service the new Sheila's car at the garage. While working on the vehicle, she notices a private investigator's file with Ned's name on it. Worried for Ned's safety, Bea decides to take action.

What are the consequences, and why is Sheila 2 so interested in Ned's past?

After Shareena Clanton filmed her guest stint as the new Sheila, the star spoke out about experiencing racism on set.

This led to the Australian soap's production company FremantleMedia ordering a cultural review and separate legal investigation.

Sharon Johal, Meyne Wyatt, and Menik Gooneratne are among some of the other stars who have opened up about their experiences on the show.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
