Neighbours legend Jason Donovan has weighed in on his daughter Jemma Donovan's role on the Australian soap.
"As long as she's passionate, as long as she works hard, which she's doing. She's really smashing it, and I hope she gets a lot out of the process," he said.
"It's a wonderful business to be in."
Jason – who appeared on the soap as Scott Robinson from 1986 until 1989 – previously described Neighbours as an "institution" and discussed what a great title it is to get involved with.
"I'm so grateful for my time on Ramsay Street. There are so many great memories for me looking back, and to be honest, this is Jemma's moment," he said.
"My dad [Terence Donovan] had a wonderful few years and I'm sure Jemma will also embrace the experience and honour the past. She needs to look forward, be an open book, learn from her experiences and have some fun. What an opportunity!"
Well, it definitely runs in the family.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
