Neighbours spoilers follow.
In scenes set to air in the UK next week, Borg – who is the first actor with a cochlear implant to star on Australian television – will be seen in his history-making debut when his character is recruited by Susan Kennedy to keep an eye on an anxious Hendrix.
Feeling lost and lacking direction following recent dramas, Hendrix decides to return to school to repeat the year. Unusually low, Hendrix dreads his first day back at Erinsborough High, feeling like a joke to his peers.
Susan asks new teacher Curtis to keep an eye on Hendrix, who is in some of his classes. Curtis takes heed of Susan's warning and notices that Hendrix is acting withdrawn and isolated.
Curtis decides to approach Hendrix for a quiet word, but when he appears reluctant to engage in conversation, Curtis promises to be there if Hendrix ever needs him.
Meanwhile, Harlow Robinson struggles to move on from her concern for Hendrix, but when she learns he sold the Christmas present she bought him, she's hurt and angry – and any sympathy she had for Hendrix disappears.
Later, Hendrix surprises everyone with an emotional outburst. Stressed about his dad Pierce, Kane Jones, and now Harlow, Hendrix considers dropping out of school.
Is Hendrix about to blow the second chance he's been given – or will newcomer Curtis be able to persuade him to stick it out?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, February 25 and Friday, February 26 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
