Neighbours' Nicolette Stone to drop a bombshell over Mrs Mangel's death

From Digital Spy

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours will see Nicolette Stone and Jane Harris' relationship break down again, after Nicolette drops a bombshell over Mrs Mangel's death.

Back in 2018, Jane learned that her grandmother had passed away in London.

In scenes airing in the UK next week, Audrey Hamilton (Zahra Newman) makes an innocent reference at work to the time Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) was in London two years ago. Nicolette, not wanting this information to be made public, strongly denies she was ever in London and tries to stop Audrey from saying anything more.

Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) notices the tense exchange between Nicolette and Audrey, and suspects Nicolette of bullying behaviour.

Karl then tries to find Jane (Annie Jones) at the school to ask about Nicolette.

This, however, frustrates Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), who is already struggling with being around Jane so much – living and working with her.

Susan ends up deciding Jane has to move out of the Kennedy house, and is delighted when plans are made for Jane to move into Number 32 with Nicolette, David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan.

But things between Nicolette and Jane quickly deteriorate when Jane confronts her daughter about the time she spent in London, which coincided with Mrs Mangel's death.

Nicolette confirms that she saw Mrs Mangel, but the visit didn't go well as she revealed the truth about her sexuality to her great-grandmother. Mrs Mangel reacted badly and Nicolette left.

Mrs Mangel died shortly afterwards, with Nicolette believing that the stress of the conversation led to the deterioration of her health.

Jane is devastated and unwilling to forgive Nicolette, leaving their relationship broken once again.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Friday, November 6, Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
