Neighbours spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Neighbours' Paul Robinson plots against Brent Colefax on Australian screens next week, as he puts into motion his latest scheme.

10 Peach viewers recently saw Brent (Texas Watterston) fleeing to avoid getting arrested, following the failed robbery at The Hive with gang leader Holden Brice (Toby Derrick) which left Nicolette Stone seriously hurt.

Paul has never been a fan of Brent, and has always vocally disapproved of his granddaughter Harlow (Jemma Donovan) dating him.

So when Brent is caught by authorities, Paul takes the opportunity to come up with a plan to get rid of the teen for good.

In upcoming scenes on 10 Peach (via TV Week magazine), Paul catches everyone including Harlow off-guard when he hires Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) to be Brent's lawyer.

His surprising decision isn't related to any change of heart. It turns out he only did it on the request of Brent's mother Jenna.

"The deal was struck so Jenna could feel confident about Brent's welfare while she moved to New Zealand with Emmett," Stefan Dennis explained to TV Week.

"But it was more about Paul securing a better future for Emmett rather than caring for Brent."

It's not long before Paul begins plotting against Brent to ensure he stays out of Harlow's life.

The schemer pays Holden Brice a visit. The gang leader has already confessed to his part in The Hive's robbery, but is blackmailed into change his story.

Paul not only threatens Holden, but also promises a monetary reward for his co-operation.

Harlow is devastated when she learns Holden has changed his story to paint Brent as the key person responsible for the gang's crimes, and she opens up to Paul, unaware of her grandfather's involvement.

These scenes air in the UK in five weeks' time.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
