Neighbours has revealed the results of Dee Bliss's DNA test - and it was bad news for Team Sonya.

Dee (Madeleine West) has agreed to prove her story by having her identity formally verified, after doubts were cast over her shock return from the dead.

Tuesday's episode of the Aussie soap (January 31) saw Mark Brennan report back to Toadie and Sonya with the all-important results, confirming that everything about Dee's story checked out.

He told the troubled couple: "We got the DNA results back. It's definitely Dee." Phew.

And discussing Dee's mysterious saviour, Mark also revealed: "I managed to get in contact with Emily and she's confirmed everything that Dee said."

Well that settles that then! Or does it?!

Neighbours fans have been watching the episodes very closely recently, and some viewers have spotted something suspicious about the moment that Dee gave Mark her hair sample for the test.

As soon as Mark mentioned the test, Dee found an excuse to pop back into her motel room for a moment - leading to speculation that she had some hair hidden away to hand over. (Although we dread to think how a Fake Dee would get hold of Dee's real hair...)

Dee also seemed pretty reluctant to agree to a cheek swab, preferring to offer up the hair sample instead. But are Team Sonya fans just clutching at straws to prove Dee is a fake, or could they be onto something?

Whether they're clues or red herrings, Neighbours are definitely packing a lot of secret signs into the episodes to keep fans guessing - so we'll let you be the judge...

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
