Neighbours has confirmed that Kyle Canning will be making a comeback to Erinsborough next month.
Christopher Milligan has reprised his role as Kyle after nearly three years away from the Aussie soap.
Kyle will be coming back to Ramsay Street to throw a spanner in the works for his father Gary's relationship with Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond).
Upcoming episodes see Gary plan to propose to Amy, much to the disapproval of her father Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).
When Kyle – Amy's ex – soon puts in an appearance, has Paul found a new way to cause trouble?
Full details of Kyle's return will be released next week, but early teasers have already been shared in advance TV listings. You can see these below:
Tuesday April 2: Gary is about to propose to Amy, but their romantic moment is interrupted by a surprising arrival.
Wednesday April 3: Gary and Amy accuse Paul of hiring Kyle to cause tension between them.
Thursday April 4: Kyle accepts Paul's job offer, but will he agree to its unspoken condition?
Plans for Kyle to return were first let slip last year by Damien Richardson, who plays Gary.
"The long-term reason to get Gary and Amy together is linked to the fact they're talking to Chris Milligan about getting him back as Kyle, Gary's son, which could be happening next year," Damien told Radio Times in October.
"As Kyle was Amy's boyfriend it gives the potential for some good drama there. So if we hook the audience in with Gary and Amy now, we then add the Kyle factor!
"I imagine Sheila will stick her oar in and blame Amy for causing trouble for her precious boys!"
Kyle joined Neighbours in 2008 and became a show regular from 2010.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and weekdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
