Neighbours' Roxy Willis to face new wedding challenge in 2022 storyline

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours will hint at some new wedding drama for Roxy Willis in an upcoming storyline.

In episodes airing in the new year, Roxy (Zima Anderson) and Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) encounter a potential issue ahead of the ceremony when Kyle hires Mick Allsop (Joel Creasey) as the wedding planner.

Upon learning Kyle has hired him, both Sheila (Colette Mann) and Roxy are horrified, knowing all too well that Mick can be unreliable and a troublemaker.

Roxy is adamant that Mick should be fired, but he tries to save his job by wowing the bride-to-be with flashy wedding ideas. Is this what Roxy wants for her and Kyle's big day?

Mick was recently working at Lassiters following Harlow Robinson's sabotage against Chloe Brennan.

He ended up being incompetent at his job, and was eventually fired after Chloe and Harlow teamed up to get rid of him. So it's no surprise that Roxy would have major reservations over Mick as the wedding planner.

Roxy and Kyle have just overcome the issues between them after Kyle's surgery. Kyle had been diagnosed with testicular cancer and had both of his testicles removed.

Despite vowing to support him, Roxy felt overwhelmed and upset as her and Kyle struggled with being open with each other. This led her to spill Kyle's diagnosis to Sheila against his wishes.

After they managed to patch things up, Roxy proposed to Kyle to prove him she was ready to spend the rest of her life with him, no matter what.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Wednesday, January 5 at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
