From Digital Spy

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours' Sheila Canning is rushed to hospital on UK screens next week after she suffers a worrying collapse.

Sheila still has her heart set on winning back Clive Gibbons, but her plan to bring Des Clarke to Erinsborough backfires and ends in a massive row that leads to her requiring surgery.

In upcoming scenes, following Sheila's discovery of their relationship, Jane Harris (Annie Jones) and Clive (Geoff Paine) try to be discreet to avoid hurting their friend any further.

Sheila (Colette Mann), however, remains furious with the new couple and unfairly lashes out at David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) over the relationship at The Waterhole. Afterwards, David tells Jane and Clive that they shouldn't let Sheila dictate their lives.

Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) tries to comfort Sheila. She believes that Sheila and Clive are meant to be together, and misleadingly says that Jane's great love is her ex Des. Following this conversation, Sheila calls Des (Paul Keane) and convinces him to come to Erinsborough.

Sheila's plan is to use Des to break up Jane and Clive. She hides the truth from a confused Des, only suggesting that something is amiss with Jane.

Des ends up finding Jane while she is on a date with Clive. The three of them realise what Sheila has been up to, and when she arrives, a big row breaks out. As Des angrily confronts Sheila over her plan, Sheila collapses to the ground.

At the hospital, Sheila is taken into surgery to be fitted with a pacemaker.

Des feels guilty over Sheila's collapse and apologises to her. Sheila forgives Des, but ropes him into her newest plan to win back Clive.

At the same time, Levi (Richie Morris) and Kyle (Chris Milligan) – wanting Sheila to be stress-free as she makes her recovery – ask Clive to keep his relationship with Jane discreet.

Clive goes even further, telling Jane that they should take a break for Sheila's sake.

Jane agrees to the break, but deep down she's worried about the future of their relationship.

Neighbours airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, January 25 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
