Neighbours star April Rose Pengilly has revealed that she and Jodi Anasta requested a change to Elly Conway's exit storyline.
Elly bows out from Ramsay Street at the end of next week on UK screens, deciding to make a fresh start in Switzerland with Shaun Watkins and their baby daughter Aster.
Elly's final episode will see her share some advice following the big news that Chloe is pregnant.
As Chloe is worrying about her Huntington's disease and the possibility of passing the gene onto her baby, Elly encourages her to allow hope to factor into her decision-making process with the pregnancy.

In a chat with Digital Spy, April revealed that this scene was included after she and Jodi lobbied producers to give the former couple some closure.
April explained: "It was absolutely devastating to see Jodi go. There actually was no goodbye scene written for Elly and Chloe. We were both so upset and went to the producers and said: 'You have to give us some kind of farewell!'
"They rewrote one of our last scenes. It was actually the last scene we shot together – and the last scene that Jodi shot before she left. We both ended up crying! We were both so sad and emotional that we made it a farewell scene.
"It was really sad to see Jodi go and I hope we see her again. A lot of characters in the show are recurring or come back for extended periods. It was announced recently that Plain Jane Superbrain is coming back full-time, so you never know."

Asked whether she agrees with Jodi's positivity over a possible future for Chloe and Elly in the long-run, April replied: "Yes, definitely."
Neighbours bosses announced Jodi's departure in January and her final scenes aired in Australia earlier this month.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
