Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson has teased a future return for troublesome Liz Conway.

Former Home and Away star Debra Lawrance was cast in the role of Elly and Bea's selfish mum Liz last year, when she arrived in Erinsborough for a tense family reunion.

Although Liz didn't stick around long on that occasion, she reappeared a month later for another short stint – and Bonnie, who plays Bea, reckons that won't be the last we see of her.

Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: "I think Liz is always going to come back. There is always juicy storylines when she is around. While Elly and Bea are on the show, their mum is always going to pop back in and cause a ruckus in the Kennedy house, for sure."

Bonnie added: "She's a very airy fairy character. She's a really horrible mother and she doesn't really care about what the girls are up to. She just likes to get involved when there is drama and make it all about her.

"There's a lot of really cool storylines and I hope she's involved in some of them. But she's the girls' mother so she should pop her head in every now and then."

With Elly about to make another shocking move next week, there's certainly going to be no shortage of drama in the Kennedy household over the coming months.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
