Neighbours spoilers for UK viewers follow.
Neighbours star Takaya Honda has shared a small behind-the-scenes secret regarding his appearance in the new opening titles.
The show refreshed its titles earlier this week following Dipi and Shane Rebecchi's exit, with each character group given a new shot.
David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan are now spotted enjoying a walk by the Lassiter's Lake, and Takaya, who plays David, said there was attention to detail.
"This is the first time David has had his shirt off on screen since his kidney surgeries, and you may not notice (because it is hard to see) but we made sure he had the scars," he shared on Twitter.
In late 2019, David's life was left hanging in the balance following a hit-and-run accident, needing a kidney transplant.
This led to the return of Robert Robinson, who after much drama ended up donating a kidney to save David.
Sharon Johal and Nicholas Coghlan said goodbye to the show on Tuesday (March 30) on Australian screens, as their characters Dipi and Shane moved to Sydney for a fresh start and to be closer to their children Kirsha and Jay.
They were seen off by Yashvi, Ned, Mackenzie, Sheila, Toadie, Nell, and Hugo.
This won't be the last time fans see Dipi, as executive producer Jason Herbison recently confirmed that Sharon Johal will be back for a guest appearance.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
