Yahoo News Neighbours teases Pierce and Dipi's new story in latest trailer
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours' Dipi Rebecchi (Sharon Johal) and Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) are embarking on that classic soap storyline: an affair. How naughty!
Dipi is struggling with her other half Shane's drug addiction, while Pierce is finding it hard to deal with with Chloe's pregnancy and Nicolette's feelings for his wife. An argument between Shane and Dipi leads her to Pierce's arms. Or mouth, as it were.
Now a new trailer (from Chloe actress April Rose Pengilly) has teased what fans can expect, with dramatic music, slow fades and VERY SERIOUS black and white, like they are trying to tell us that this affair is going to become public knowledge in a very explosive and devastating (for them) way.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, soaps have had to find new ways of doing intimate scenes. To get around not being able to have Johal and Robards kiss, they've brought in Johal's real-life husband, Ankur, who looks nothing Robards and is a finance executive, not an actor.
It took him a while to agree to do it, but Johal managed to convince him in the end. She did admit that she did find it difficult to do intimate scenes with her husband on set without getting proper intimate with him.

What makes this story even more crazy in the real world is that Robards is leaving the role, and Pierce has been recast with actor Don Hany for his final scenes, which UK viewers will see in November.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
