Neil and Katya Jones share loved up snap following Seann Walsh scandal

Strictly Come Dancing professional dance couple Neil and Katya Jones appear to have their once rocky relationship back on track.

36-year-old British ballroom dancer shared a touching photo on Instagram on Christmas Eve. The image shows him in a close embrace with his professional dancer wife of five years, 29-year-old Katya Jones.

Neil captioned the photo as: “Wishing you all a Happy Christmas/Holidays I hope you are eating loads of food and spending quality time with family and friends” as well as the hashtags “#family #friends #loved ones…#positivevibes.”

This intimate post of course comes just months after Katya Jones was embroiled in a kissing scandal with her celebrity Strictly partner Seann Walsh.

Katya was pictured kissing the 33-year-old comedian outside a Marylebone, London pub, despite her being married to Neil and Walsh being in a longterm relationship with his then girlfriend Rebecca Humphries.

Both Katya and Walsh apologised on Twitter for their ‘one-off mistake’ but the photographed kiss fuelled rumours that the pair had being having an affair for weeks.

And while Humphries swiftly dumped Walsh, Katya and Neil have remained together and Neil has yet to comment directly about the affair.

In fact, Neil hit back at a fan’s question on his Instagram story earlier in the week, when one asked ‘Are you back with Katya?’ to which he replied: “I’ve never been away from Katya.”

Katya’s kissing scandal was the first to hit this year’s Strictly – but it was by no means its last. Additional reports included eliminated contestant Vick Hope being ‘banned’ from the BBC following her ‘fix’ claims and the backlash both Faye Tozer and Ashley Roberts received for their dance backgrounds.

And let’s not forget Danny John-Jules, who despite emerging as an early favourite to win the series, went on to be hit with accusations that he bullied his professional dance partner Amy Dowden. While he adamantly denied doing so, he failed to turn up at the It Takes Two recording following their elimination.
