Netflix adds BBC drama with Mr Bates vs The Post Office star
A 2015 BBC One drama starring Mr Bates vs the Post Office's Toby Jones has been added to Netflix.
Based on John Lanchester's best-selling book of the same name, Capital tells the story of how a street in South London is transformed by increasing property prices.
The residents of the street later receive a threatening message on a postcard from an unknown sender, which reads: "We Want What You Have". Who is behind the postcard and what do they want?

As well as Jones, the three-part series also stars Fool Me Once star Adeel Akhtar, God's Own Country's Gemma Jones, Deadpool & Wolverine's Wunmi Mosaku, and The Full Monty's Lesley Sharp.
There's plenty of strong talent behind the camera too, with The A Word's Peter Bowker on writing duties, and Doctor Who and Heartstopper's Euros Lyn serving as director.
Since dropping on Netflix this week, it has made it to the top 10 of the streaming service's most watched shows in the UK.
Netflix has been adding quite a lot of licensed older content lately, including a forgotten thriller starring James Bond's Ana de Armas, and the first two seasons of Sky's Gangs of London, starring The Lazarus Project's Paapa Essiedu and Peaky Blinders' Joe Cole (which is actually set to get a third season at some point).

These projects can often find a new lease of life on the streamer after flying under the radar on initial release, such as Chris Evans' 2017 film Gifted. It ranked third on Netflix's Global Film Chart upon being added, only being outperformed by two brand-new releases.
Of course, Netflix adds plenty of original and new content too, with the upcoming week seeing Heartstopper season 3 and Love is Blind season 7 dropping.
Capital is available to stream now on Netflix. It previously aired on BBC One.
