Netflix is putting so much money in the voice cast for their revival of cult classic The Dark Crystal, we're hoping there's some cash left over for everything else.

The streaming service has already announced a huge amount of big names lending their voices to the project, including Taron Egerton, Helena Bonham Carter, Mark Hamill, Alicia Vikander and more.

But now, Netflix has announced another bunch of famous faces tied to the project (though you won't actually see those faces in the show).

Game of Thrones star Lena Headey will star as Maudra Fara, while Avengers' Benedict Wong will play The General.

Hannah-John Kamen, who was in Ant-Man & the Wasp as Ghost, has been cast as Naia, while the original film's Dave Goelz and Crazy Rich Asians' Awkwafina will play Baffi and The Collector respectively.

And that's not all! Netflix has also signed up the legendary Sigourney Weaver as The Myth-Speaker. Unlike the others, she doesn't get a puppet, but we're sure her dulcet tones will be more than enough.

The 10-episode series, sub-titled Age of Resistance, is a prequel to the 1980s movie. It will tell the story of three Gelfling who discover the evil Skeksis have corrupted The Crystal of Truth.

As if they weren't going crazy enough with this project as it is, Netflix has also announced a Dark Crystal strategy game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, too.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is set for release on August 30 on Netflix.
