Netflix loses subscribers for first time in 10 years

The number of Netflix subscribers has fallen for the first time in more than a decade as the company hinted at a crackdown on password sharing.The streaming giant’s customer base dropped by 200,000 in the first three months of the year, the company revealed on Tuesday.It said that part of the loss was because of a decision to withdraw from Russia, with a loss of 700,000 subscribers.Another 600,000 people stopped its service in the US and Canada after a price increase, with prices also increasing in the UK.
