Netflix reveals air date for Meghan Markle's final Suits episodes

Netflix has confirmed when UK subscribers can see Meghan Markle’s final Suits episodes, ahead of her exit from the show.

Markle’s character Rachel Zane will bow out of the show after the conclusion of season seven, of which there are six episodes left.

On Tuesday, Netflix announced that the episodes will land weekly on Thursday’s – just 12 hours after they air in the US – starting on March 29.

Markle’s final scenes will be available on Thursday 26 April, as the series concludes the night before with a double bill.

It is not yet known how the character will leave the show but she won’t be the only departee as on-screen love interest Mike Ross – played by Patrick J Adams – also going.

A trailer for the remaining episodes was released earlier this month, teasing the upcoming exits.

Ross is heard saying: “You want to move in together?” and Zane telling him: “You are my future” and “It’ll be the adventure of a lifetime”.

Producers announced earlier this year that Katherine Heigl would join the cast to fill the gap left by Markle, as Samantha Wheeler, a new partner at law firm Pearson Specter Litt.

Soon after Markle became engaged to marry Prince Harry in November 2017, it was announced that she would not reprise her role in Suits.

The pair are due to marry at Windsor Castle on Saturday 19 May 2018.

Suits returns to Netflix on Thursday 29 March.
