Netflix have some very exciting announcements for Queer Eye fans.

The streaming service have confirmed that the Fab Five (Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown and Tan France) will be back on Friday, July 19 for a fourth season.

It will see them return to Kansas City, Missouri, to help eight more people transform their lives.

But there's more good news, as Netflix also announced Queer Eye has been renewed for a fifth season, set to debut in 2020, which will see the group travel to Philadelphia.

The Fab Five have also filmed four episodes in Japan, which Bobby Berk gave Digital Spy some exclusive details on in March. "The first episode you guys see might be my favourite episode we've ever done," he said.

"Two best friends of decades hugged each other for the first time, because we hugged. They started crying and going, 'Why haven't we hugged each other our whole lives? This feels so good!'

"In the Japanese culture, they don't hug much, and we went around showing people how great it is to hug. In the next year, everyone in Japan is gonna be hugging!"

The group also recently made an appearance in Taylor Swift's star-studded music video for 'You Need To Calm Down,' alongside other LGBTQ+ icons such as RuPaul, Ellen DeGeneres and Laverne Cox.

Queer Eye season four premieres on Netflix, July 19.
