Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez has signed on to be the voice of Netflix's upcoming animation Carmen Sandiego.
The latest project from the streaming service follows the international criminal in a rather fetching fedora (via Entertainment Weekly), based on the Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego? educational game.
It has previously inspired live-action game shows on PBS, a cartoon series, books and comics starring the character.
Twenty 22-minute episodes are set to be released in 2019 with Rodriguez voicing the main character accompanied by Stranger Things's Finn Wolfhard voicing Player, described as "Carmen's chief accomplice and friend".
Netflix says Carmen is "back and ready for a new crop of international capers packed with thrilling adventure and intrigue".
"This fresh take presents an intimate look into Carmen's past where viewers will not only follow her escapades but also learn WHO in the world is Carmen Sandiego and WHY she became a super thief."
Rodriguez tweeted to confirm her involvement, also giving us a teasing first look at the artwork we can expect to see on the show:
I already have the fedora and coat. So it's definitely true. 🙌🏽😍🦄 https://t.co/Fg2T6yw8W3- Gina Rodriguez (@HereIsGina) April 15, 2017

In charge of the show's visuals will be Kevin Dart of Mr. Peabody & Sherman fame.
