Netflix has unveiled the first teaser for I Am Not Okay With This, a new upcoming original series from the creators of Stranger Things and The End of the F***ing World.

Based on the Charles Forsman graphic novel of the same name, the show follows teenagers Sydney and Stanley (played by IT stars Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff) as they navigate the trials and tribulations of high school and growing up.

And, as if high school isn't bad enough on its own, Syd is also dealing with the complexities of her family and her budding sexuality – and things get even more confusing when she discovers she has mysterious superpowers too.

In the short trailer, Syd can be seen walking to school as Stanley pulls up beside her in a yellow car and the two share hellos.

After rolling down his window at an excruciatingly slow pace, Stanley then gestures to Syd to hop in the car and share a ride to school, before the show's titles fill the screen as the car can be seen driving off into the distance.

Looks like Netflix doesn't want to give too much away just yet then.

Alongside Sophia and Wyatt, the new Netflix series also stars The Good Wife's Sofia Bryant, Episodes actor Kathleen Rose Perkins and Greenleaf's Zachary S Williams.

The series will be executive produced by End of the F***ing World director and executive producer Jonathan Entwistle, alongside Stranger Things executive producers Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Josh Barry.

Ahead of the comedy-drama landing on the streaming service later this month, Netflix has confirmed that I Am Not Okay With This will consist of seven 30-minute long episodes.

I Am Not Okay With This is set to launch on Netflix on February 26.
