Everyone's favourite Golden Globes host and bath selfie fanatic Ricky Gervais is bringing his stand-up show Humanity to Netflix at some point during the first quarter of this year, but that's not all.

The streaming service has bought the rights to a second stand-up show from the David Brent: Life on the Road comic.

Don't expect it anytime soon, however. Gervais hasn't even started thinking about his next show yet.

The star wrote on Twitter: "As you may have read, Netflix have bought two stand up specials. The first, Humanity, which I have toured and filmed. And the second, which I haven't even thought about yet.

"Any suggestions for a theme or title?"

As you might expect, plenty of people tried to troll the comedian with their ideas, but one Twitter user came up with something so genius, we'd be disappointed if it isn't true:

Beyond his stand-up specials, Gervais is bringing his new game show Child Support to US network ABC, and will appear in a Netflix series in which he'll star as a suicidal man.

He recently had to respond to reports that he had been drinking every single day since he was 18 years old, stating that tabloids had taken what was obviously a joke from his podcast out of context and presenting it as fact.
